A NEWLYWED couple's first week of marriage was interrupted when the groom was arrested just days after their wedding.
Jacob LaGrone had to answer to charges from an incident that took place months before his nuptials to Madelaine Brockway.
Why was Madelaine Brockway's groom, Jacob LaGrone, arrested?
On March 13, 2023, Jacob LaGrone was arrested in Tarrant County, Texas, for three counts of aggravated assault against a public servant.
Court documents stated LaGrone "intentionally and knowingly threatened imminent bodily injury" and "did use or exhibit a deadly weapon during the commission of the assault, namely, a firearm."
During the alleged incident, LaGrone supposedly initiated a confrontation with three police officers when he approached them with a gun.
Without disclosing the exact location, police arrived at a local residence after receiving several complaints about a disturbance at the site.

The officers at the scene were C. Munoz, C. Wilson, and J. Dunlap.
The alleged confrontation with LaGrone was believed to transpire after Munoz, Wilson, and Dunlap made their way onto the premises.
In Texas, assaulting law enforcement or a public servant carries a possible life sentence if convicted.
Legal documents suggested LaGrone should serve 25 years in prison.
