Bo Nickal Facts

Growing up, Nickal always wanted to be a wrestler.

He was quite young when he relocated to Wyoming. Later, he moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Both of his parents were college athletes, his mother was a former boxer and also played basketball at San Diego State University where as his father played football at Chadron State College.

His father coached him until his youth.

Nickal was just five or six years old when he began taking an interest in wrestling.

During his freshman year, Bo moved to Allen, Texas. After completing his junior year, Bo committed to the Penn State Nittany Lions wrestling at the Pennsylvania State University.

It was announced on November 10, 2019, that Nickal had signed an MMA management deal with First Round Management.

Bo made his UFC debut against Jamie Pickett on March 4, 2023, at UFC 285 winning the fight with an arm-triangle choke submission.
